Two-Stage Co-Optimization for Utility-Social Systems With Social-Aware P2P Trading

چکیده

Effective utility system management is fundamental and critical for ensuring the normal activities, operations, services in cities urban areas. In that regard, advanced information communication technologies underpinning smart enable close linkages coordination of different subutility systems, which now attracting research attention. To increase operational efficiency, we propose a two-stage optimal co-management model an integrated comprised water, power, gas, heating namely, water-energy hubs (IWEHs). The proposed IWEH facilitates between multienergy water sectors via energy conversion can enhance efficiency system. particular, incorporate social-aware peer-to-peer (P2P) resource trading optimization model, operators trade with other interconnected IWEHs. cope renewable generation load uncertainties mitigate their negative impacts, distributionally robust (DRO) developed to capture uncertainties, using semidefinite programming reformulation. demonstrate our model’s effectiveness practical values, design representative case studies simulate four communities. results show DRO more effective than (RO) stochastic (SO) avoiding excessive conservativeness rendering utilities, without requiring enormous data samples. This work reveals desirable methodological approach optimize water–energy–social nexus increased economic system-usage entire (integrated) Furthermore, incorporates social participations by citizens engage operation

On the Efficiency of P2P Service Trading through Social Networks

We consider a set U of users connected in a social network GS = (U,F ), where the social link set F ⊂ U × U defines the friends relations between users. If user i treats j as his friend, i connects to j through a directed link 〈i, j〉 ∈ F . Suppose each user can provide some services, and also want to consume some services provided by other users. We can define a demand graph GD = (U,D), where D...

The Social Impact of P2P Systems

The chapter deals with the social impact of P2P systems in light of a bidirectional connection by which technological developments influence, in a complex and often unpredictable way, the social environment whereas the dynamic evolution of the latter does affect technological progress. From this perspective, the aim is to deepen legal issues, sociological trends, economical aspects, and politic...

Sociable P2P: using social information in P2P systems

This paper examines the role for social information in peer-to-peer content sharing and distribution systems. Much work in P2P research has taken, as fundamental assumptions, that participants in a P2P network consist of largely anonymous and self-interested agents. As such, cooperation and public good problems arise when rational peers prefer to free-ride rather than contribute; various incent...

Optimization of two-stage production/inventory systems under order base stock policy with advance demand information

It is important to share demand information among the members in supply chains. In recent years, production and inventory systems with advance demand information (ADI) have been discussed, where advance demand information means the information of demand which the decision maker obtains before the corresponding actual demand arrives. Appropriate production and inventory control using demand info...

Merging Similarity and Trust Based Social Networks to Enhance the Accuracy of Trust-Aware Recommender Systems

In recent years, collaborative filtering (CF) methods are important and widely accepted techniques are available for recommender systems. One of these techniques is user based that produces useful recommendations based on the similarity by the ratings of likeminded users. However, these systems suffer from several inherent shortcomings such as data sparsity and cold start problems. With the dev...
